Implant Supported Dentures

Implant supported dentures are an incredible way to go.  If there is any chance of getting two implants on the lower jaw, do it.  Sometimes lower dentures are very difficult to get used to wearing.  The muscles under your tongue and in your cheeks are very powerful and the lack of bone to support the denture, dictates how that lower denture will flop around.

Everyone is a little different; some people do great with a lower denture, while others struggle.  The amount of bone dictates how secure or mobile this denture will be.  But it never fails…Once someone has implants, and the denture is modified to accommodate these implants with attachments, it is literally night and day, a difference.  Implants not only secure the denture/dentures, they also aide or stop the remaining bone from reabsorption.
